As an artist, I enjoy things I don’t understand. I’m interested in creating work that exists through multifarious levels of understanding, wherein I draw references from such disparate sources as Conceptualism, Xerox copies, Bay Area rappers, language, and the Internet. By applying mechanisms and structures I find in those things, I can then apply those to the making of objects to create new physical and conceptual forms, which leads to new avenues of thought.
