Disconnection, alienation, isolation. Your external environment affects how much you perceive the world and how it is indirectly reflected in your work. By employing the look of an aspatial gaze on my models faces, I create this mood of disconnection that is a condition that everyone experiences at one moment or another. Using the aesthetics of portrait photography, I created self-portraits that are not of the physical self.
