This series of textiles reflects on the nostalgic era of the San Antonio, TX Westside Sound.

The Westside Sound is the pioneer of what is now known as Chicano Soul, it began in the inner city neighborhoods during the mid 1960s and lasted through the 70s.

Each textile was designed to capture the essence of the songs, and create a visual pattern based off of the lyrics, rhythm, and style of the bands.

Through textiles, this history can be shared.
