A World Filled With Ash is a character development project that presents topics of radical rulers, racism, homophobia, trauma, abuse, revenge, family values, identity, love, and; fantasy as a form of healing and recovery. Ashlin is an elven princess who is secretly a dragon hybrid, she is spoiled and a child of abuse. When she is kidnapped and left for dead she loses her leg and eye and must hide her identity. She takes on the name Ash and learns the secrets of her past she must return home and stop a war that will wipe out thousands. When she returns she claims the throne, wins the war and becomes a powerful, understanding war queen. She spreads peace, love, and equality throughout the land. My goal for this project is that it would function as a symbolic memoir, a form of personal healing, and an outreach to other survivors of abuse and trauma.
