BETWEEN YOU AND ME gives physical form to indeterminacy. It privileges tacit engagement to make physical the immaterial and bring forward what we know by heart. Centered around three collaborations, this project explores naming and categorizing as central strategies that test and extend the notion of assumed knowledge. Existing as sites of exchange, each collaboration includes a signature with space for sixteen pages of content, accompanied by an object. The objects hold the thematic concerns of each signature and generate discursive positions proactively asking: what can we find together? What is included here is the beginning of an ongoing investigation, prompts, and possibilities that urge us to reconsider that quality which cannot be named.
