Evidence of the Unknown is a demo of the first chapter of a web-comic I plan to continue post-thesis. It takes the form of a 17 page ashcan comic in grayscale with spot color made in Clip Studio Paint. In the future, I plan to post future chapters online as they are made. The comic follows Murphy, a socially isolated conspiracy theorist who finally gets proof of the existence of aliens. This first chapter establishes who Murphy is, her stakes, and her discovery of the crashed alien spacecraft. The story has a focus on characters and their relationships, along with hard sci-fi and general
worldbuilding. It is a reflection of my own journey in life to open
up as a person and find like-minded people.
