Drugs are Everywhere
Today in the United States there are individuals being punished and incarcerated under outdated legislation passed over 20 years ago. Drugs are Everywhere examines the history of the War on Drugs and how it systematically targets minorities and people living in poverty. The paper also examines the role of black intellectuals and their role within the community. Community involvement is followed by language not being a defying factor in one’s status within society by proclaiming language does not measure intellect.
