Witch Candy is a 24-page black and white comic book. The story follows four trick-or-treaters who break Halloween taboo and as a result turn into monsters. The main theme deals with greed. Secondary theme is choice—the difference between selfless and selfish decisions. My intention was to create a prototype for a one-shot trade paperback for readers ages ten and up. My thesis is part one out of four from the first trade. Ultimately I will create a new story to release every October as a Halloween special.
