John Tage Johnson BFA Printmaking Thesis Spring 2015
Kick Rocks
This thesis project is concerned with the idea of the environmental mirror, freedom in movement, and physical connection to the urban environment. By using a system of randomized walking, photographs of industrial architecture were collected. From these photographs prints upon physical mirrors were produced and installed. The installation was in response to the room that it was installed in. By using the mirror as a means to highlight architecture within the room, a dialogue between the viewer, image, and space occupied, was formed.
