Bagay Nou Pataje is a letterpress book about folk culture in Louisiana. The book explores the aesthetics of folklore in the American South. Southern culture is distinctive and specialized in comparison to
that of our nation, and the practice of folklore has perpetuated the cultural identity of a place. As an outsider, I will use folklore as a lens to investigate the South, and hopefully find greater connections to the culture of America.
