For my thesis I wanted to create a sustainable brand that would in turn help give back to animals. I created Sillydogs, which serves as an on-going T-shirt project that will be sold, with a percentage of proceeds benefiting animal shelters and animal organizations in the local Portland metro area. By using as many Earth-friendly materials such as organic cotton and soy-based inks, I am promoting good health for the planet as well. Sillydogs has become an excellent launching point for helping out stray, abused, and neglected dogs while using my artistic strengths through illustration.
