International Writing Program, 2009

Visiting Scholars Lecture

PNCA held a reading and reception for five writers from the University of Iowa International Writing Program. This is part of “writers’ week” at PNCA and is organized by PNCA faculty member and writer-in-residence Barry Sanders. Writers’ Week includes both “immersion in the campus curriculum along with collaborative public programming.”

Participating writers include: Fflur Dafydd, a novelist, literary critic and musician from Wales; Soheil Najm, a poet from Iraq; Osman Conteh, a novelist from Sierra Leone; Fedosy Santaella, a fiction writer from Venezuela; and Lijia Zhang, a nonfiction writer from China.
