Talk: An Intimate Evening with David Yow

Designer and musician David Yow in conversation with Paul Anthony.

The Pacific Northwest College of Art Communication Design program hosted an interview and presentation with musician and designer David Yow in the PNCA Swigert Commons.

After an introduction by Aaron Draplin of Draplin Design Co., Paul Anthony of Rumblefish interviewed Yow on his past as the frontman of Scratch Acid, The Jesus Lizard and Qui and his transformation to “the best photo-retoucher in the world.” Afterward, Yow gives a lively presentation of his photo retouching portfolio, accompanied with audience snacks.

To promote the event, PNCA Communication Design student David Roos ‘10 and Draplin collaborated on a custom poster screenprinted by Pete McCracken of Crack Press. Yow autographed the posters for audience members following the interview.
