For my own health and the advocation of others, I am making art because I have to. I am passionate about representing the human experience in order to provoke discussions concerning politics and mental health. Through printmaking processes and a mixed-media painting practice, I express my vices, shortcomings, and mental barriers in a whimsical and approachable way. I am an agent of expression and connection, always striving to create work that others can identify with and even gain a sense of relief from. My ultimate goal is to be understood by people through my practice; allowing my shortcomings, inner turmoil, and strife to fuel my creativity and connection with others.
