Sarah Bailey Intermedia Thesis Spring 2019
An exploration of the human relationships to life and to death, a landscape of video projection, sound and sculpture; the elements of the physical and the digital, weave into each other, affected by the viewers presence in the space. In order to understand the value of my life, I will reflect on the obsessive collections that I accumulated over the years of my adolescence. This installation is an attempt to understand how I relate to these objects, the reasons behind our hoarding of objects and information, and why it is so hard to let it go. I am observing my personal patterns of obsession with image and form; displaying them in an audio-visual presentation of sculpture, collage, video and sound.
