Little Heaven is an installation that shares my experience of being an Asian-American woman and how I navigate this world, inspired by my grandparents journey of coming to America when they were just twenty-four. I have created twenty-four ceramic vessels, twenty-two letterpress printed objects, five ceramic stands, and laid out river pebbles to reference the feeling of a river. The themes that flow within this body of work involve a serpent, a river, my grandparents, and myself.
