Inside Out
Using exaggerated forms of everyday dress, I have created articles of clothing which act as defense mechanisms. These pieces reveal the panicked state one enters when feeling emotionally or physically distressed. Taking cues from nature and childhood, they are hyperbolic forms which demonstrate the self-defeating ways of human nature in our attempts to protect ourselves.
