Beauty is only a mask, beneath it monsters can hide but little girls can be transformed. Looking to understand what strength means to our identities Lynsey transforms mythological creatures from her Scandinavian heritage. Recreating five creatures that give their victims a false sense of security because of their outward appearance, Lynsey pulls from her own past transforming each character into alternative versions of herself. Not knowing exactly what she would discover about them or herself, Lynsey set upon a journey to discover what beauty means, how identity shapes us and how strong we truly are.
