End of Eternity is a twist on the apocalypse genre while taking a critical look at how we treat our planet.
How many times in our life so far have we seen or heard talk of the end of the world? It’s near impossible to escape. We as humans are obsessed with death, the beyond, and our own destruction. Imagine if we put half, or even a quarter of that energy into fixing our mistakes, what would change?
We explore these themes and ideas through two conflicting characters Flint and Rye as they learn about each other and the changed world around them. As they navigate the differing landscapes of the flourishingwilds and the disintegrating wastes they discover secrets of a time past. Ley lines that reach far and wide thatwhen converged hide pockets of earthly magic that could reinvigorate the wastes if used correctly. Whileour heroes aim to remedy the sins of those that came before them, another group searches to use the magicfor their own nefarious means. Can humans find a way to live in harmony with nature or are we cursed to follow our destructive path?
It is my goal for the reader to take away a new sense of appreciation for the world around them when they step away from this story.
