My thesis project, entitled “PAWZ FM” is a blind box series of 6 characters that showcases a combination of fashion, culture, and representation. The series takes
inspiration from the alternative music genres of the early 2000s and delves into the
fashion styles that were prevalent during this era and presents them in a new but familiar way. PAWZ FM aims to highlight the lack of representation for
underrepresented communities in this space, such as people of color, people of the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as plus-size individuals. My project consists of 6 character turnarounds, a box design, two logos, a character pamphlet as well as a prototype of one of the figurines.
