MFA ACD Lecture: Donald Fortescue

Graduate Visiting Artist Lecture Series

The MFA in Applied Craft and Design welcomes educator Donald Fortescue as part of the 2011-2012 Graduate Visiting Artist Lecture Series.

Donald Fortescue is a professor of art and design at California College of the Arts (CCA) in San Francisco and has a rich background in scientific illustration, sculpture, woodworking and furniture design. His work is built upon a foundation of practice: practice as learning through repetitive action, practice as spiritual or aesthetic devotion and practice as professional activity.
