Memory Spaces

I explore the idea of memory spaces that physically exist within the mind. Everyone daydreams, and when they do, it’s as if they journey somewhere else for the moment and leave all conscious thought. Spatial relationships with the mind make it possible for the brain to store memories and create the areas around them. Through researching topics such as neurology, human consciousness, and memory, I create connections between what’s real, what isn’t, and what is imagined to be for the sake of self-existence. My work is an attempt to visually represent the spaces where memories dwell and daydreams run free.
