The Broadway Corridor is undergoing an extension of the park blocks which is going to be very costly. After the process of demolition, the construction of a corridor ensues and every thing is thought out from how many doors and windows will allow people to participate in or view the arcade to what types of businesses and residents will be allowed to lease, but how the corridor expands beyond itself is through mineral and nutrient flows and hardly any make it to our homes because even if there are small businesses they still rely on tycoons like Cargill. I painted this scene from my workplace thinking about how the route to the river doesn’t display any signs of natural processes.
