The Distance

The Distance is a non- fiction stop motion animated film that centers on two biracial siblings reflecting on blackness and what it means to be in between. The film is split into two parts, Aurora and Tanner, and alternates between their points of view. The Distance presents an ongoing discussion about racial identity and how the perception of others shapes the perception of one’s self.
