CraftPerspectives Lecture: Nikki McClure

Graduate Visiting Artist Lecture Series 2011

Papercut artist Nikki McClure, whose work is the subject of a new exhibition at Museum of Contemporary Craft, speaks about her work at a joint CraftPerspectives and MFA in Applied Craft and Design Lecture.

Working with daily life as her subject, black paper as her medium and an X-acto blade as her tool, Nikki McClure creates intricate papercuts which have become a hallmark of an impressive career that includes her well-known printed calendars, book illustrations, snowboard designs, t-shirts and more.
