Another approach to looking at sculpture as pedestal, Coiled Correlations was initially inspired by building modularly as a way to build larger. As part of my examination of what immersive means in the art world, this piece is meant to consume the viewer with sensory overload. A large block colored hexagon, representing community, braces the spiraling birth of the multi-headed creature that sits on top. Splattered neon invigorates chaos that is calmed by the harmony of color relationships.
