Me or my OCD is about the questioning of my own illness. It addresses the blurring of lines between my identity and the identity of my disorder. It is related to the separation I create between myself and my OCD as a way to feel saner and the subsequent shattering of that separation when I was demonized as a violent person in complete control of their actions. It asks the question, am I my disorder? The image of the dishes is one of the triggers that set off my OCD during a specific episode. This work is drawn entirely with my left hand.
