Lastly, Mold Blossom displays the spectrum of yellow to orange. The name is derived from a song called “Mold Yoga” by Salem band, Sustentacula. For this mixtape, I used a few bands from the my hometown, Salem, and its local music scene because orange and yellow tones remind me of seeing shows in High School. The songs I chose captured the essence of these colors, some literally and figuratively; a few reference Autumn and the sun, while others have upbeat tempos and energetic pulsating beats.
