This is the only image in the series that contains depictions of actual living creatures. Their gaze meets at the center, the focus, which is a striped tree growing up and into the atmosphere. Of all the imagery, Stairway To Heaven has been left up to the viewer to interpret. As a skateboarder, my personal vision was to capture the expansive ness of the environment which I ride. Stairs are the most fascinating, dangerous obstacle, one which rewards and takes away. The two creatures are the onlookers, an important part in the performance of skateboarding.
