Urban space, when considered from a multitude of different angles, begins to become full of life. An office building in downtown, looked at on a sunny day, takes in the environment from behind and breathes the air just as a mammal does. It does not maintain its assumed presence, made of cement and metal and glass, but rather, inhales the clouds floating in the distance, becoming something to be interacted with and appreciated on an altogether different level. Its colors begin to saturate depending on the back drop; if it is a gray building laying across a bright blue sky, it will reflect some of that blue, and create a deep contrast, elevating it from its position as weathered, old, and un-beautiful. The subtleties missed from an untrained eye, such as light reflecting and refracting through glass windows, draws the viewers attention and contributes to the altering of everyday perception.
