The painting shows a mostly all white scene of objects which include a pottery elephant planter, a lamp shade, a fluffy lace crown, and a white shutter in the background. The exception to all the white is a gold framed mirror that reflects just a fraction of my bedroom doorway. Many people, unless familiar with it, wouldn’t know that the mirror is from Harry Potter, one of the other many things that I collect. One of my bigger collections is of white items. Many of the pieces in my apartment are white or off white because I find it more calming with all the chaos of my stuff, let alone the chaos of the outside world. The painting is just another example of the randomness I am surrounded with. It really shouldn’t make any sense at all but I think it all goes well together. That’s really the story of my life, organized chaos.
