The painting shows just a small fraction of one of my cluttered displays. You can just make out the corner of a metal rack with a ring of old skeleton keys hanging off of it. Draped around the rack is a set of battery operated bat lights. In the background hanging on the wall, is one of my fabulous antique gold frames, like the ones my paintings are framed in. Sitting inside the metal rack are a few fingers of a palmistry hand, a chalk ware witchy plaque, and a few pieces of vintage Halloween decorations. The majority of the items are all cut off, my intention is to make people curious and wonder what’s going on. This vignette seems to be my all year long Halloween display. With my birthday being the day after Halloween, I am a big fan of all things spooky.
