The painting depicts an angel-like Victorian lady that is sitting on top of my thermostat control panel. The angel is a small artist-made piece I picked up at a local antique store, back in the days when we could still go outside. The piece is one of my favorites because it may be simple but it probably says the most. With the thermostat depicting the ideal comfort zone but the arrow on the dial pointing to low, sums up my daily mental state throughout this whole project, especially with the current state of affairs in the world. Who knew that a homebody like myself would have such a hard time with mandates for self-quarantine because of the Covid virus.
