In the painting it shows a close up view into one of my display cabinets, or cabinets of curiosities. Primarily displayed in the foreground is a brass giraffe wearing a crown, probably the only sentimental item I own that belonged to my grandmother. Next to the giraffe is an old photo of a puppy in a basket that came from a pack of cigarettes from around the 1930s that is being held up by a sea creature place card holder. In the background you can see bits and pieces of other items like a small micro mosaic frame, a Scorpio coffee cup, a crystal ball on stand, and a “happily ever after” label.
