What We Know in Our Bones

An altar-like sculpture composed of basalt with a layer of porcelain bones. It is on a layer of plaster with graphite drawings that seem to be connected to the drawings on the bones themselves, which highlight cracks that occurred in the firing process. Some of the bones have actually broken and in these it is revealed that the material in the bones is graphite. There is a platter to the left of the sculpture containing jewel-like pieces of broken glass and it is clear that some of the glass has been removed and added to the altar.
