Weaving Water

Being hard on myself is something I tend to do in reaction to negative and disruptive situations. This piece has gone through several iterations and layers of manipulated materials. Towards the end, it became a place of kindness and self care. The weaving of cheesecloth became a tender moment of healing the wounds. Thinking of the ocean and soothing sounds of waves was a reminder for an inner peace.
