Originally Midi lived off the grid alone in a subterranean hideout. But I wanted them to have a more complex home life, and deeper ties to the city, so eventually this changed to them living above Barky’s Corndogs. This illustration was designed to look more like a still from an animated feature than a comic book. I would like to create an animated short or series based on Superfun closer to this look.
