The fern is a classic symbol of the Pacific Northwest. Growing everywhere it can: the forest floor, within the notches of trees, and even in the cracks of sidewalk within the city, the fern represents the lifeblood, the spirit of the region.

In my studio work, I have created a line of twenty-five botanical pattern designs for fabric, intended to be used within the home. This line is inspired by plants of the Pacific Northwest. The fabric is targeted at creative women who would ideally use it to craft something for their home, bringing the outside in.
