Sit down and make yourself comfortable.
Relax.

I want to share with you the stories of three salmon, Chinook, Sockeye, and Coho. In the days when this landscape was forged by Nature, Pacific salmon ruled this land.
The seasons of spring and fall were marked by spawning salmon populations running across the entire face of the Pacific Northwest, millions strong. The aftermath of this incredible journey turned the rivers into salmon graveyards.
But wait, there is hope.
The salmon carcasses gave fruit to the earth, allowing the whole land to blossom with color and vitality. A new generation of salmon emerged to replace those that passed, and so the legacy of Pacific salmon continued.
Men and women came to this land and saw the strength of salmon and wished to covet its power for themselves. Now the rivers and the landscape are dimmer and less vital.
Relax.
Take a deep breath, and slowly exhale.
Together we can make the Pacific salmon sacred again. Together we can give the salmon back its power.
And so the legacy of Pacific salmon continues…
