CraftPerspectives Lecture: Nikki McClure

Visiting artist Nikki McClure will give a public lecture on her artistic practice on Thursday, October 20th, 2011 in the PNCA Swigert Commons. McClure is a guest of both the MFA in Applied Craft & Design and the Museum of Contemporary Craft.

Working with daily life as her subject, black paper as her medium and an X-acto blade as her tool, Nikki McClure creates intricate papercuts which have become a hallmark of an impressive career that includes her well-known printed calendars, book illustrations, snowboard designs, t-shirts and more.
