The Museum of Contemporary Craft’s permanent collection contains nearly 1,300 objects representing a depth and breadth of skilled craft from 1937-2016. It includes a large selection of ceramics, as well as works on paper, textiles, art glass, metal, and wood.
Thanks to its origins as a working studio in the 1930s, the collection holds a large number of early-career works from artists of both regional and international significance. Now held by the Center for Contemporary Art and Culture at the Pacific Northwest College of Art, it has been cataloged here to facilitate access to students and the public alike. The full extent of the museum’s historic and archival material is also held in the archives at PNCA. For research inquiries, please contact the Albert Solheim Library.
Before using the search function, please note that this platform includes access to many works created by the PNCA community in addition to the Museum’s permanent collection. These works may occasionally include explicit material, controversial topics, or nudity.
