The Philip Feldman Gallery + Project Space presents an exhibition of work by Korean photographer Jungjin Lee.
Jungjin Lee is known for her textural photographic surfaces which are an outcome of her meticulous process. Beginning with handmade Korean mulberry paper, Lee brushes liquid emulsion on to the surface to achieve a painterly effect, unique for each print.
The photographs in Wind are selected from the 50 works in the series of the same name, which captures the ethereal quality of its namesake in a series of landscapes dominated by windswept expanses and foreboding cloud formations; panoramas that dare an adventurous spirit, while at the same time warn against casual entry.
