Enfant Poisson
Enfant Poisson, {Child Fish} is an intermedia Thesis Project Exploring; Costume design, Masquerade, Improvisation, Eco activism and absurdity to make a public spectacle exploring the relationship between fish, consumerism and egoism. It is the intent of this project to make visible the ecological disturbance and psychological absurdity that plastics pollution has on our world and in our lives. This project originated as an act of self reflection. I wanted to address the negativity that I felt each time I came into contact with Petroleum products. To transmute the negativity into something positive, delightful and strange. This work is an act of comedic relief in response to our ecological truth that is overwhelmingly devastating.
