My practicum project: Nearness and the Impossible Download is about discovering things in a way that is active and durational. I do this by making molds. In my mind I can make a mold of something instantaneously. This mental mold is like a hypothesis — a starting point. I work in my slow kinesthetic way in order to reveal to myself the distance between idea and execution.
