THUNDER LIZARD

Mostly you are right about things. Especially animals, and I’m an animal, so maybe you are right about me. This is an excerpt from the poem, The Most Colossal Animal Ever Just Found Out West from the manuscript, Thunder Lizard (Dinosauria, Sauropoda) written by Chelsea Werner-Jatzke.

Thunder Lizard is a poetic proposal regarding the nomenclatural problems associated with the naming of the brontosaurus. Formatted according to how a case must be presented if to be submitted to the International Commission of Zoological Nomenclature.

The intent of this application is to preserve stability; for the purpose of preventing such disturbance and of promoting a stable and universally accepted nomenclature.
