Discovering Jade District: Through Community and Creative Placemaking

This thesis is a look into how communities are shaped and how to examine these changes in a specific community such as the Jade District. Creative placemaking can further shape these changes in communities to reflect current residents living amongst their community. Though learning about community and creative placemaking this researcher expands on ideas of what makes a community though an interactive Community Voice Project which build on definition from community members.
The current body of knowledge around Creative Placemaking reexamines how current problems occurring in the cities and how they can be improved by art or cultural activities. This research will be inspired by the identity of community and how to better understand it through Community Voices.
