As someone who had her head filled with too many monsters stories when she was little, my work is about exploring our relationship with fantasy and horror. This accumulated into this thesis project, in which I seek to explore our own relationship to fears. It has been my experience to note that people see fears only as their weaknesses, something that must be kept secret from other people. However, I believe by talking about our fears openly, we create a sense of acceptance in ourselves and others. This thesis is about using the power of fears and finding our courage within them.
