Intimacy: A Personal Construct
Within this paper I am deconstructing the definition of “intimacy” as a human construct. In doing so I will be exploring contemporary photographers and the different strategies they use in order to obtain their own versions of intimacy. Photographers of mention are: Nan Goldin, Elinor Carucci, Delaney Allen, and myself concluding. Intimacy is an interchangeable term, that changes regularly to fit the needs of an individual. I will come to the conclusion of my own definition to fit my own thoughts and ideals.
