My work employs tactics of both sculpture and painting. I use this hybrid method of working to explore the tension between absence and presence, the physical world and the implied world. The Presence of Absence is a personal experience that grapples with what is there and what is not. The ruptures, or windows, are meant to provide a framework or access point to address and contemplate these two realities.
