My thesis project #nofilter is an abstract representation of my digital self-portrait formed by the elements of my social media profile, Instagram. These elements are extracted, enlarged and exploded into a physical space with the intentions to hyperbolise the inflation of ego and self-promotion that has occurred in the contemporary digital age.

This manifestion of my Instagram account is used as a platform to launch further into my consciousness, commentary and musings based on personal experience and the research findings about social media and its impact on the individual and society.
